On 20th October a group of Spanish students and teachers from Alicante, together with Czech
students from Základní Skola VI, Kolín, visited the Toyota Car Factory. It was a really interesting
experience for all of us, as it was the first time we had visited such an important factory like that.
What we most liked was watching the process of how a car is made from the beginning to the end,
but also how the factory worries about environment and makes important investment on green
technology. Besides, we felt that workers are important and the managers take care of their health
and get good salaries.
The lesson we learnt is that nowadays cooperation around the world is very important. As our
teachers said, Toyota Company is a bit like an Erasmus project. All the factories around the world
are connected and investigate and study to share their knowledge and experience. In this way cars
can be made in a more efficient, safe and less contaminating way. Congrats for your good work!
